After confirming DJ Snake’s first major Hong Kong show, it has now been revealed that the global EDM star will headline the Sino-French Electronic Music Show as part of French May Arts Festival 2026. Staged as a large-scale open-air event against the city’s skyline, the performance is set to mark a dynamic start to the festival’s 33rd edition.
Building on his status as one of electronic music’s biggest crossover names, the French hitmaker is expected to transform Victoria Harbour into a bass-heavy live experience, setting the tone for a cross-cultural festival opener with real impact.

DJ Snake’s Global Domination
This announcement follows a global run that has seen DJ Snake sell out arenas and stadiums across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. With a catalogue spanning trap-pop staples like ‘Turn Down for What,’ ‘Let Me Love You’ and ‘Taki Taki,’ the French artist – real name William Sami Étienne Grigahcine – has also collaborated with major names including Justin Bieber, Cardi B and LISA.
His upcoming Hong Kong debut adds another stop to that international trajectory. Backed by more than 52 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 40 billion streams, the harbourfront set is being positioned as a major crossover moment, bringing his French electronic sound into dialogue with Hong Kong’s high-energy nightlife scene.

A Special East-Meets-West Set
Following the announcement from Occasions Asia Pacific and the French May Arts Festival, DJ Snake’s one-night-only Sino-French Electronic Music Show has been framed as the opening moment of a two-month celebration of cross-cultural arts running from May to June.
Set to take place on 8 May, the flagship concert will reportedly include a special collaborative performance with a leading Hong Kong DJ, merging DJ Snake’s global sound with the city’s own EDM and club culture for a one-off East-meets-West set.
Backed by the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund under Hong Kong’s Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau, the show is set to bring DJ Snake’s blend of trap, hip-hop and pop to the harbourfront. Venue details, ticketing information and the full lineup have yet to be revealed, with organisers teasing further announcements in the weeks ahead.
