A Lineup That Spans Genres And Generations
This is where the experience truly comes alive. Like tradition, Clockenflap 2025 continues to bring together renowned names and exciting newcomers from around the world. The weekend builds with a series of headliners – starting on Friday with a landmark event: the first-ever international show from Japan’s chart-topping artist, Vaundy.
The excitement continues on Saturday with the long-awaited Hong Kong debut of British indie-rock band Bloc Party, while Sunday reaches a pinnacle with the intense and layered sound of My Bloody Valentine. In addition to the headliners, this year’s lineup includes the haunting voice of Beth Gibbons (of Portishead), the danceable hits of Franz Ferdinand, and the introspective lyrics of Bright Eyes.
The festival also spans continents with viral hip-hop star Rich Brian, the versatile talent of Jacob Collier, and notable Asian acts like Yoga Lin, Phum Viphurit, and Hong Kong’s own Panther Chan and Jace. It’s a lineup designed for exploration, where each set offers a compelling choice for attendees.

Beyond The Music: A Feast For The Senses
Clockenflap extends beyond performances on stage, offering a rich mix of arts and culture. The 2025 edition also features a world premiere: Minimax. This mobile, kinetic theatre travels across the festival grounds, combining visual art, dance, and live music into a dynamic experience that engages the audience directly. Its first chapter, ‘The Planets,’ presents a vivid interpretation of our solar system through movement and sound – created by Hong Kong’s own performers and artists.

Your Guide To The Grounds: Navigating The Festival Hub
The central hub of Clockenflap remains the Central Harbourfront, with the AIA Observation Wheel serving as a key reference point. This is where you’ll find the main entrance and primary exit. For those leaving from other areas, secondary exits are available along Lung Wo Road, heading either towards Admiralty or back onto the harbourfront promenade. A key tip: if you leave, re-entry is only permitted via the main entrance at the Observation Wheel, so plan your departures accordingly.
Getting to the festival is straightforward. The Central Harbourfront is one of Hong Kong’s most accessible public spaces. Here’s how to arrive:
- By MTR: Alight at Hong Kong Station (Exit A2) or Central Station (Exit A). Follow the clearly signposted walkways toward the Central Star Ferry Piers. The festival entrance is a short walk past the Observation Wheel.
- By Ferry: A visually appealing option. Any ferry arriving at the Central Piers places you minutes away. Aim for the Hong Kong Observation Wheel near Pier 10, and you’ll spot the festival gates.
- By Bus: Numerous routes stop near the IFC mall or the Outlying Ferry Piers. From either stop, it’s just a brief walk to the Harbourfront site.
- By Taxi/Ride-Hail: You can request a drop-off at the Star Ferry taxi stand in Central. Be mindful that traffic can be heavy on festival days, so public transport is often the fastest choice.
Once inside, navigating the stages, food stalls, and creative displays is simple. Detailed interactive maps are available on the official Clockenflap website and app – providing real-time guidance to every toilet, water station, and performance venue.

A Greener Gathering
True to its evolving ethos, Clockenflap continues to place a strong focus on sustainability. Look for ‘Green Stations’ across the site to responsibly sort your waste. Do your part and bring a reusable bottle to fill up for free at the water stations – it’s good for your wallet as well as the planet.
Secure Your Pass
A three-day General Admission pass is priced at HKD$1,990 and gives you the most complete experience. If you can only make a single day, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday tickets are available for HKD$1,280 each. Younger festival-goers under 18 enjoy discounted rates, making it an appealing outing for older teens and families.
With a mix of international stars, innovative arts projects, and a lively, communal atmosphere, Clockenflap 2025 is more than your typical festival — it’s a standout year-end gathering. Grab your tickets and get ready for a weekend where the Hong Kong skyline becomes the setting for new favourite memories.
