Giá Trattoria Italiana
Your favourite authentic Italian trattoria just got a new chapter – and an 11th-anniversary offer too good to ignore. Giá, the beloved family-style restaurant from Giando Group founder Chef Gianni Caprioli, has settled into its new Wan Chai home at Shui On Centre after relocating from Fenwick Pier, and it’s celebrating with a March-exclusive Fiorentina T-Bone Steak for just HKD$998. Each cut weighs over 1.2KG, grilled Florentine-style to a charred crust and rosy centre – sourced from grain-fed beef and finished simply with sea salt and olive oil. But the menu is packed with highlights beyond the steak: hand-twisted Strozzapreti pasta with black truffle, Roman-style pizzas with San Marzano DOP tomatoes, and a weekly-flown Mediterranean sea bass that melts in the mouth. Don’t miss Pizza Hour (Monday to Thursday, 3 to 6pm), where a 13-inch Margherita and a glass of wine go for HKD$158 – and if you’re a cheese lover, the Cinque Formaggi pizza with five Italian cheeses is pure comfort. Chef Gianni, who once cooked for Fiat’s Gianni Agnelli and now holds Italy’s Knight of the Order of the Star of Honour, has shaped a restaurant that’s thrived for over a decade in Hong Kong’s fickle dining scene – and this anniversary deal is a very good reminder to book in, if you haven’t already. Just remember: only five Fiorentina portions available per night.

Bushra
Here’s one more reason to visit Bushra, the Middle Eastern restaurant overlooking the harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui East. Spread across two floors with plenty of al fresco space, the venue has refreshed its menu with new cold mezze, hot plates and mains – all served in the same open setting now featuring live entertainment (including a belly dancer every Thursday evening). On the menu? The new Beiruti Hummus adds tomato and fava beans to the signature dip; the Baked Halloumi arrives melted in tomato sauce with za’atar, made for scooping; and the Slow-Cooked Short-Rib comes highly recommended, served with tarragon yoghurt and seasonal vegetables. For something traditional, the Shrimp Fatteh brings together crispy fried bread, chickpeas and eggplant in a tangy yoghurt sauce, while the new Om Ali dessert – an oven-baked puff pastry pudding with nuts – is a soul-warming finish worth saving room for.

Shake Shack
Shake Shack is serving up two spring drops that hit very different cravings: a Korean-inspired dessert collab and a French onion burger lineup that gives familiar favourites a serious glow-up. From 5 March to 15 April, the brand teams up with Kylie Yang, Head Pastry Chef of ZS Hospitality Group, for two sweets with a Korean throwback at heart: Barley Tea Shake and Soy Mochi Into You Concrete. The shake pairs roasted barley tea with vanilla frozen custard, finished with puffed brown rice and a dusting of tea powder; the concrete folds in injeolmi (soybean powder-coated rice cake) with cookies and puffed rice for a nutty, creamy crunch. On launch day (5 March), 5% of sales will go to HER Fund in support of women’s rights. Then from 2 March to 11 May, the French Onions menu lands – led by the French Onion Soup Burger with Angus beef, melted Swiss, caramelised onions, and roasted garlic parmesan aioli. There’s also a ’Shroom version (crisp-fried portobello stuffed with Muenster and cheddar), plus the Shack Stack if you want the full send. Add Garlic Parmesan Fries and dunk everything into that same aioli.
