Set Sail With The Nike One Piece Collection To Power-Up Your Fits

Head for the Grand Line this September with Nike, as an exciting new One Piece collection hits the high seas as well as store shelves. Turning the beloved manga’s iconic Devil Fruits into three special-edition Air Max colourways as well as jerseys, shirts and accessories inspired by the series, this collaboration is custom-made for the overlap between sneakerheads and Straw Hat loyalists.

Truly digging into the eclectic visual world of ‘One Piece’ rather than just slapping logos on tees, a selection of cities across Asia is set for early access in September ahead of a global launch later in the month.

From Devil Fruit To Air Max

The main event of this Nike One Piece collection is without a doubt the trio of retooled Air Max Plus sneakers inspired by Devil Fruits: the purple Gomu Gomu no Mi, orange Mera Mera no Mi and deep-pink berry Ope Ope no Mi. Granting their eaters extraordinary abilities, these signature aspects of ‘One Piece’ lore has been translated into three boldy maximalist interpretations of the popular Air Max Plus silhouette by Nike.

The Gomu Gomu takes cues from Luffy’s purple rubber power-granting fruit while the fiery Mera Mera colourway references the fruity catalyst to Ace’s fire manipulation abilities. Law’s berry-pink Ope Ope no Mi rounds out the trinity of Devil Fruit sneakers, with each pair arriving with a reworked upper design done exclusively for the collaboration.

Already one of the brand’s loudest and bounciest models, Nike turns up the visual drama to bring these new Air Max Plus designs straight into the beloved anime.

Manga-Made Merch

Alongside footwear, Nike pushes the collaboration deeper into the wardrobe, rolling out jerseys, caps, t‑shirts, and a vest centered on ‘One Piece’ references that fans will recognise in an instant.

Famous graphics and manga panels – including Luffy’s hand‑drawn Jolly Roger – splash across the range, reimagining ‘One Piece’ imagery with Nike’s unmistakable touch.

The life‑jacket‑esque orange vest, in particular, cheekily nods to the in‑universe drawback of eating a Devil Fruit – vulnerability to the sea itself. It’s the kind of detail that signals this collaboration was made for true fans, rather than just a surface‑level cash‑in riding on the series’ global popularity.

Asia Gets In Early

The rollout stretches across September, kicking off with a Tokyo pop-up from the 4th to the 6th. The first wider release follows on 12 September, landing in select Asian hubs – Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, and others – alongside Mexico City, with pieces available at retailers like HBX and Nike Lab.

A second limited wave drops on 19 September across European and North American cities, including Amsterdam, Dallas, Madrid, and London. Then, on 25 September, the collection makes its full global debut via SNKRS.

Die-hard anime obsessives and sneaker collectors alike will have their eyes on this drop – and for good reason. With purple, orange, and berry colourways on the legendary Air Max Plus, demand is guaranteed. These pairs are expected to vanish faster than Luffy lunging for a feast, so put it on your radar and act quickly.
