The British house has taken over The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon with a yellow-check summer escape, complete with poolside cabanas, a Burberry tuk-tuk, wellness experiences and plenty of reasons to make a day of it.

A British Summer For Bangkok
Burberry has arrived in Bangkok for the summer, taking over The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon with a city-wide activation that places British summer style against the heat of the Thai capital.
Running until 31 July, the Summer Takeover sees the hotel reimagined through the lens of Burberry’s High Summer campaign. The House Check appears throughout the property in a custom yellow colourway created exclusively for the project, extending across poolside loungers, cabanas, wellness spaces and a Burberry-wrapped tuk-tuk stationed outside.
The Pool Gets The Burberry Treatment
The Pool on the hotel’s sixth floor leads the takeover, recast as a sun-soaked escape overlooking Bangkok’s skyline.
Guests can spend the day beneath the yellow House Check while working their way through a specially created poolside menu of cocktails, mocktails and seasonal dishes. A roaming Burberry popsicle cart adds a light-hearted touch, serving watermelon and mango ice lollies designed to cut through the Bangkok heat.
For those looking for a more active afternoon, weekend wellness sessions at The Gym Studio bring movement into the day before guests inevitably drift back towards the pool.
Beyond The Sun Deck
The takeover extends well beyond the hotel’s sixth floor.
The Standard Shop is showcasing pieces from Burberry’s High Summer and Summer 2026 collections throughout the season, while The Parlor has been fitted with a dedicated Burberry photo booth and evening experiences designed to carry the mood beyond the pool.
A Star-Studded Launch Party
The takeover officially launched with a celebration attended by friends of the House from across Asia, including Burberry brand ambassador Vachirawit ‘Bright’ Chivaaree, South Korean singer and television personality Hwasa, and Vietnamese pop singer Van Mai Huong.
Guests gathered poolside before heading to The Parlor, where DJ sets from Patra B and Jay Sarayu were followed by a live performance from Thai singer Atom Chanakan.
The evening also welcomed a wider guest list that included Joong Archen, Meen Nichakoon, Milli, Off Jumpol, Santa Pongsapak, Benjamin Kheng, Nijiro Murakami, BAILEY, WOOCHAN and Yung Raja.
