Something fluffy and adorable is coming to Hong Kong: Pacific Place teams up with internationally acclaimed Australian artist CJ Hendry to transform the mall into a summer takeover filled with floppy bunnies until 16 August.
In Hendry’s first large-scale installation, her self-created collectible character juju comes to life through eye-catching displays, limited-edition products and a few retail surprises, all presented in spectacular fashion.

A Fluffy Little Juju Planet
Coming to Pacific Place from the mind of CJ Hendry is juju Planet: a colourful, dreamlike installation of towering trees, pom-pom clouds and larger-than-life juju figures. This multi-sensory experience encourages visitors to explore rather than simply admire it from a distance, with interactive moments appearing across the space and revealing new surprises along the way.
The star of the installation is juju, Hendry’s floppy-eared collectible character with a flower-shaped eye and endless personality. Juju combines the visual appeal of an objet d’art with the warmth of an emotional companion, landing squarely between collectible art and a keepsake special enough to sit on your desk every day.
For Hong Kong, the adorable character arrives with a complete environment rather than a simple display. Pacific Place frames the project as the city’s first large-scale juju experience, conceived in collaboration with creative house Pen & Paper.

Take Juju Home With You
The main installation welcomes visitors to Garden Court without registration, allowing guests to roam freely and trigger surprises through touch and movement. Meanwhile, advance registration is required for the juju world Merchandise Store and Capsule Toy Station near Lane Crawford, where shoppers can pick up Hong Kong-only collectibles and limited blind boxes.
The merchandise release builds on juju’s appeal as a collectible art toy. Each blind-box series includes nine standard versions and five surprise editions created specially for Pacific Place, all presented in a shiny tin worthy of display.
Interchangeable flower eyes, outfits and bonus capsule toys complete the collection, giving visitors even more ways to personalise their juju before taking it home.
Born in Korea and raised in Hong Kong, Min Ji has combined her degree in anthropology and creative writing with her passion for going on unsolicited tangents as an editor at Friday Club. In between watching an endless amount of movies, she enjoys trying new cocktails and pastas while occasionally snapping a few pictures.
